Syncletica är ju en av de mindre kända "ökennunnorna", vi känner hennes liv genom kyrkofadern Athanasius. Han prisar hennes renlevnad och hon var säkert ett föredöme för Athanasius själv, som ju vågade ta avfälliga kejsare i upptuktelse då han (bl.a. i sin bok Mot hedningarna) med kraft vände sig mot hedniskt homosexuellt leverne, utgående från Rom. 1:26-27. Tack för att du lyfter fram Syncletica och Athanasius som har åsikter så motsatta dina egna! Läs mer av dem!
